Order & Shipping
At the moment, Silk Stories only ship to Singapore, Malaysia & Hong Kong. If you're from other countries and are keen to purchase our products, do let us know at hello@silk-stories.co!
For local orders, we offer complimentary courier shipping, which will take about 2-3 business days to be delivered after dispatching.
You may also opt for same-day or next-day express shipping if you need your order urgently. Do note that the cut-off timing for express shipping is 2pm during business day.
For international orders, it depends on the delivery timeline provided via the delivery service provider, which ranges from 7-14 business days. You may refer to our Shipping page for more information.
Do reach out to us at orders@silk-stories.co and we can advise accordingly. We will try our best to help you fulfill your request, that is only if the order has not been dispatched to the courier yet.
Exchanges & Returns
We offer a 14-days return and exchange period for online orders of all regular-priced items, excluding non-clothing products, due to hygiene reasons. All refunds will be returned in the form of store credits or product exchange. For more information, please refer to the Returns & Exchanges page.
We only accept returns/exchanges if they meet the following conditions:
- Clothing in its original condition - unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unaltered, no odours/scents (perfumes included)
- Items to be returned in its original packaging
- Regular-priced clothing purchased from the online store
Items not eligible for returns/exchanges regardless of its condition:
- Damaged clothing (including thread runs or snags) or without its original packaging.
- Items that are discounted, purchased on sale or at offline stores/events
- Non-clothing products (i.e Silk Face Masks, Silk Pillowcases and Silk Eye Masks, Silk Organza Tote Bags) - due to hygiene reasons
To initiate a return or exchange, email us at orders@silk-stories.co with the following details:
- Order Number
- Item(s) to Return
- Reason for returning
- Preference: Store Credits or Exchange
We will get back to you within 1-3 working days and guide you on the return process.
Once we have received your parcel, please allow 1-3 working days for us to process the store credit refund or dispatch the exchanged item.
Items purchased from our stockists will follow their return policy. We do not allow any returns purchased from our stockists, as all sale are final.

Yes, our products are made from 100% genuine silk and are OEKO-TEX® certified, ensuring they are free from harmful chemicals and safe for your skin.
Genuine silk has a smooth, soft texture with a natural sheen that appears different under varying angles of light. It is breathable, temperature-regulating, and doesn’t feel sticky against the skin. A common test is the thread burn test—real silk burns with a smell like burnt hair and turns to ash, while synthetic silk melts and smells like plastic.
To care for silk, hand wash or use a gentle cold wash in a laundry bag with silk-friendly detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals, direct sunlight, and high heat. Always air dry and steam or iron on low heat if needed. Refer to our Fabric Care page for more details.
